Shiksha Nepal’s One Book A Child campaign has just marked another high after after an event was organized at the ATTIC Bar in Lazimpat on Monday to congratulate the twenty volunteers who volunteered to pack the 12,000 books for schools in Dolpa. The organisation has been on a mission to collect books to be supplied to the schools in the far-western region of Nepal since a few years ago. Even our very own Miss UK Nepal Gaumaya Gurung and team visited Jajarkot to distribute the books. It’s nice to see Shiksha Nepal looking after their volunteers and recognising their efforts.
The event was attended by Malvika Subba, Anil Shah, Sameermani Dixit, Kamal Tuladhar, Karma, Nisha Adhikari, Subexya Bhadel, Ajit Baral and founder of Shiksha Nepal Prem Bahadur Bohara. Speaking to the press at the event Mega Banks Anil Shah shared “The books you guys have packed aren’t just books. They are the tools that will help the children in Dolpa to see dreams of a bright future”.
Great job by the volunteers and Shiksha Nepal!
