HAMLET (in Nepali) At London’s Southbank Centre

After a successful show staged in Bhaktapur Durbar Square in last October, HAMLET (in Nepali) will be presented at the Southbank Centre in London with the crew from Nepal. Shristi Shrestha who made her theater debut with HAMLET will also be in the UK for her role as Ophelia alongside Divya Dev starring as HAMLET (Dev has replaced Arpan Thapa).

The play has been co-directed by Bimal Subedi and Gregory Thompson and is part of a project led by British Council to mark 200 years of bilateral relations between Britain and Nepal and the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death.

People in Kathmandu can catch HAMLET at the Theater Village from April 7 to May 7.

Tickets for Friday 27 May and Saturday 28 May are now on sale.
