The very differences that makes this world beautiful and facinating is unfortunately being used by people to create friction and barriers. In the past few weeks I’ve been reading more stories of people facing anti-immigrant and racist comments (such happenings are not new). In times like this, we need to remind ourselves and others that there’s more that brings us together than we think. In this short-film “All That We Share” produced by Danish TV company, its brings to light the many things that we have in common. From the outside we may be easy to label and box, “rich, poor, black, white, foreign, Asian” but beyond the classifications there are qualities that bring us together and in many.
This is a simple message yet a powerful one. I hope creative souls in Nepal can produce something similar to this as well since we all need to be reminded of how we shine the most when together.
