For those that are looking hard enough, there’s always something to see or be involved in Kathmandu. Scores of bikes of varying styles and age took to the streets of Kathmandu for the 2017 edition of The Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride on 24th of September. Founded in Sydney, Australia, the ride is held to raise funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer research and suicide prevention. The ride is all about being dapper, in style and bringing forth that class and elegance on the streets.
The previous year saw more than 57,000 participants from 90 countries raise awareness through The Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride. 2016 raised $3.65M (USD) to help fund research into prostate cancer and support male suicide prevention on behalf of The Movember Foundation. The one and only, Rajesh Hamal was also part of the event in Kathmandu.
