Love for words and writing? BREAKING THE BRACKET – a writing program aimed at young and emerging Nepali writers may just be your thing. With a new extended deadline till 5th of April, the exciting program aims to bring together up to ten passionate writers with an interest in creating feminist writing that will inspire the next generation of feminists. The program has a set criteria that applicants must meet but all in all, it comes across as a wholesome initiative – one that will instil knowledge, experience and hopefully getting your work published by the end.

A great piece of info is that there is no application fee for the program (woop woop), however get your thinking caps on and make sure you polish your piece as you will need to complete an application form, CV and send some writing samples. The team do require you to be in Nepal for the entire year. Make sure you read the plans of the writing program – it’s pretty clear and informative. Breaking The Bracket, writing program is supported by a grant from Women’s Fund Asia.
