To mark International Nurses Day – here’s a wonderful story that comes from bridal designer Sanyukta Shrestha. Shrestha recently surprised a nurse with a special bridal visor. The NHS nurse who was supposed to be getting married on the day mentioned “I loved wearing my headdress today, it made the day really special. All my colleagues completely spoilt me and the Visor veil was the absolute cherry on the cake”.

The bridal designer has been creating face masks for the NHS and care workers across England since Covid-19 brought life to a standstill. Sanyukta shared an update today with a photo of her and the 1000th mask made. The designer has also been active in providing relief to vulnerable groups in Nepal.
The designers daughter Ameya has also been getting creative during this period of home-learning as well. The five year old is seen in this youtube video making face masks for the NHS Heroes. People across the country have been getting crafty by creating a rainbow and leaving it on their windows as a show of support for the NHS. While life in lockdown is challenging for families to juggle work, home and the education of young children, Sanyukta and her husband have creatively involved daughter Ameya in these efforts to support frontline workers.
