British TV presenter Lorraine Kelly recently wrote a column on Daily Mirror about her travel to India and Nepal. The ITV “Lorraine” host also known as the face of morning television referred to Nepal as “Best known for Earth’s highest mountain, Gurkhas and being Buddha’s birthplace”. Kathmandu seems to have impressed the 54 year old host as she further complimented “Everywhere you look here there’s something magical, whether it’s one of the cheeky monkeys which call the temple their home, saffron-robed monks spinning their prayer wheels, astrologers telling fortunes or shop owners wanting to sell you incense or fridge magnets”. Kelly also mentioned visiting Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
