Nepal Airlines may be popular for making unusual headlines from sacrificing a goat, mouse disrupting it’s various flights and being listed as one of the world’s “unsafe airlines” but it looks like the new year is set to be a stellar one for the airline with the delivery of its Airbus A320 (9N-AKW, Sagarmatha) aircraft just round the corner. These photos by Martin Fester captured the brand new aircraft at Hamburg, Germany. The new aircraft is expected to land in Nepal on February 7. The second Airbus A320 will follow in April! Ooo!
I have never flown on Nepal Airlines. It’d be great to have my first NA experience on the A320! Wish they would fly Kathmandu – Dubai – London. That would be so ideal! All the best Nepal Airlines, have a good year!
PS. Any idea how one can get an entry to see the ‘grand welcome’ of Nepal Airlines A320 at the Tribhuvan International Airport. I’d love to see and capture the spectacle!
