HUAWEI’s $600,000 Support To Nepal Earthquake

HUAWEI recently donated rapid system equipment consisting of eLTE deployment broadband trunking products, portable LTE communication systems, outdoor Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) and more worth $600,000 as part of its earthquake relief program to the Ministry of Information and Communications (MoIC). The relief program took place in Kathmandu on June 12 in the presence of Hon. Minister of Information and Communication Minendra Rijal and Huawei’s director of strategic initiatives for South East Asia Bob Zhu. The MoIC will be handing over the equipment to Nepal Telecom.
