Rajani Gurung took home the winning prize at the third UK DANCE OFF 2018 on Saturday, October 13. Gurung’s two dance performances were judged by actress Miruna Magar, former UK Dance Off winner Jenny Sunuwar-Edwards, Parcha Productions founder/BBOY Sameer Gurung and Nepal Idol winner Buddha Lama. Joining Rajani were Benuka Limbu with the first-runner up title followed by Sirjana Rayamajhi as the second-runner up.
Twelve contestants competed for the title at this years UK DANCE OFF, organised by Sapan Entertainment. The title winner took home £1200 followed by £800 and £500 along with trophies and certificate. Each contestant performed two songs during the contest under the ‘Swadeshko Jhalko’ category where Nepali songs were performed and ‘Catch The Rhythm’ with dancers having the opportunity to dance in the song of their desire.
