The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry recently, well about a month ago, inked a memorandum of understanding with the leading London Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The parties involved aim to promote and strengthen the development of economic and trade relations and co-operation between the member companies. The parties are both encouraged to establish business contacts between UK and Nepal. The agreement which was initiated by the UK marketing representative of FNCCI, Prashant Kunwar believes that this is a huge opportunity to boost trade link between Nepal and the UK.

The Chamber has been involved in various projects with Nepal over the last few years and knows at first hand the great potential of the country for foreign investment in, for example, hydro-electricity.
