MeroNepali.com started when two friends Kiran Khanal and Sudeep Karky were in discussion over how learning Nepali language online could be made easier. With a growing number of tourists and non-Nepalis visiting and working in Nepal, the duo looked for ways to make the experience of these individuals richer. MeroNepali.com’s interactive approach to learning Nepali language has been appreciated by non-Nepalis and young Nepalis living abroad in diaspora communities.
Though it has only been a few months since the website went live, Khanal shares that there has been over 400 registered users already. Their current data shows over 60% of non-Nepalis learning Nepali. The MeroNepali.com team are looking forward to collaborating with Nepali Sunday schools all over the world.
