Below is the TRAILER
Movies in Minutes – Gorey Gurung film
Buddha was born in Nepal
Watching a video of Nikhil Advani on indiafm.com attempting to justify himself didnt help as he mentioned that Lumbini was in India in 18 something, this may be true however when is the movie set?
It doesnt look like the movies set in 1820’s or something so why not update ourselves and speak of now’
which would mean .. the alteration to Buddha was born in Nepal
Its the young children who will be wrongly educated about this matter. The movie has been banned in India, which is a pity as im sure that Warner Bros etc are losing a lot of money.
Secondly, why are we Nepalese getting psyched up about issues such as these whilst we turn deaf ears when India consistently encroaches the Nepalese border. So far figures stand aroung 47,000 sq km which is believed to have been taken by India. Nepal and India needs to strongly review that Sugauli treaty because its high time that rivers shouldnt be used as a border.
Rivers change courses, erode, and you know’ a whole lotta crazy things.
Saajan Saajan dance
Tommorow
Il get paid tommorow ; teeehehehe’

I really wanna go watch that My Bloody Valentines 3D badly just for the effects and because its 3D. Heard all sorts bout it having a crap storyline but i dont care. I wanna feel the fear’ its exciting. haaa
Slumdog Millionaire is a must watch’ its one of those movie where if you take it well then you’l learn a lot. You dont focus on the acting or anything because the movie is so real that you just imagine what its like… kinda like a documentary/movie ~:D
Who wouldve thought aye’ Dev Patel from SKINS to a Bafta nominee for Best Actor’ Keep it up…
Prachanda is this and that
In 2006 when Nepal became a fully democratic nation, one of the many things that the people asked for was freedom for journalists to write what they want and they also wanted to stop the censoring of news. However till this day journalists are innocently being murdered because of their profession and news are still biased because tell me, when was the last time that you heard an article writing off the maoist led government. This is all being played by the government and I know that no one likes to read bad things about them or their group however as theyre of a higher status does not mean they have the right to filter news or arrest someone just because theyre expressing their views. After all we are living in a democratic country. Many journalists have died for carrying out their duty, so please I encourage that safety for them be upped and also if people go out and protest and die, theyre called martyr then why should journalists?
They should get higher status for the work they do and for the amount of time that they or publications such as Kantipur get harassed from groups such as YCL etc.
Maoist led govnt should think of a solution to the rising crime levels including the protection of the vulnerable and those who carry out difficult jobs.
Censorship in media should be abolished and one should be able to write whatever he/she wants as they can in a democratic world. This also includes any piece of information which goes against the maoist led government.
Lastly, us Nepalis can learn a lesson from Slumdog Millionaire and lets prevent before our city is filled with growing slums such as Dharavi with inadequate water/drainage faciltiies etc.
😀
Some points i have made, may be inaccurate and wordings may be wrong.
Agenda – People Speak : Jharana Bajracharya
If i could meet my favourite celebrity then it would be none other than our own Nepali oopmh girl, Jharana Bajracharya. I like her melancholic stare that tames me everytime I look into her eyes. Moreover, I adore her confidence and intelligence that she has shown in interviews and talkshows. Initially, she was not so popular but after acting in a hindi movie she became the talk of the town. I watched her in a popular talk show where she pragmatically answered all the questions asked and i liked her from that day. She is the epitome of beauty and brains. She has got everything that an actor needs to have. Unfortunately, today, she is not knowledged by Nepali film industry and her talent has been wasted. So, I would like to ask her, why is she not doing any movie these days? And I would also like to suggest her to work in good movies. Jharana you really rock and you deserve the best actor award. Good Luck!!

The Jharana Bajracharya Issue
Many People wonder and ask me what it is that I see in Jharana, I dont know how to explain it to them. Its there yet i cannot express it. Its not the desire which I am obsessed with unlike others. Its the person underneath the defensive wall that i wish to learn more about.
She seems distant in her interviews, far from the seductress siren dancing on top of Sonu Nigam. She seems distant in her interviews, just like the roles in her Nepali music videos. I as a fan, will support her and many actions which she has took can be justified and will be justified.
To those who write negative comments on her videos’ i decided to speak, its about time that Nepalese people started appreciating talent rather than just criticise because even if you end up watching a crap movie for three hours, you still have to consider the hours of work that they put just for that three hours.
Jharana Bajracharya rocks’

King Gyanendra
Deposed King Gyanendra Shah yesterday left Narayanhiti Palace once and for all after delivering an emotional speech to the Nepali people at a press conference.“I was an innocent child; I had neither any wish nor desire nor any possibility of having a distinct role except the compulsion to quietly accept the crown,†he said. He added that he became king seven years ago because of an unnatural, unexpected and tragic incident. “I had no other interests except considerations for the sovereignty, independence, national pride, territorial integrity, peace and the institutional development of democratic, and overall progress of all the citizens.â€
He said he and his family were deeply affected by an organised strate gy to spread malice against the royal institution after he became king again in 2001.
“The prejudiced efforts to blame me and my family for the events have been painful to us and are still so. Other members of the royal family who survived the incident are still alive. Bullet fragments which couldn’t be taken out for technical reasons are still in the body of my wife who was also wounded in the incident,†he added.
The former king also said he did not have any moveable and immovable property in foreign lands and he had conserved the ancestral property in an institutional manner.
“During the last seven years neither have I added any property nor have I taken any action by which the traditional property has been reduced,†he maintained.
“I have not usurped the right to property of any member of the royal family. I believe that I would also have rights to maintain private property according to the prevalent laws of Nepal,†he said.
He also pledged to remain completely dedicated to the independence and territorial integrity of the nation, which he said was formed and remained independent and sovereign because of the “blood, sweat and sacrifice of our great ancestorsâ€.Stating that the crown and sceptre had remained as heirloom of his ancestors, he said he had handed them over to the government of Nepal for safekeeping and protection for ages to come.
Escorted by heavy security, the former king moved to Nagarjun Palace later in the evening in a car.
